SRRC Certification

The full name of SRRC is State Radio Regulation Committee, also known as the National Radio Regulatory Commission. In 1998, the National Radio Monitoring Center and the National Radio Spectrum Management Center merged to form the National Radio Monitoring Center of China.

In 1999, the Chinese government established special frequency ranges for different types of wireless transmission equipment, and not all frequencies were legally used in China. All wireless transmission equipment sold or used in China will have different frequencies specified. In addition, applicants must pay attention to the regulatory scope of certain wireless transmission equipment. They must not only apply for "Radio Model Approval Certification", but also apply for China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and/or Network Access Permit (MII) approval.

SRRC certification (also known as SRMC certification) can be understood as radio model approval certification.

Certification Introduction:

In order to strengthen the management of imported and produced radio transmission equipment, all radio transmission equipment exported to the People's Republic of China or produced (including trial production) within the territory of the People's Republic of China must hold a Radio Transmission Equipment Model Approval Certificate issued by the State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC) after its transmission characteristics have been approved, and the model approval code (CMIIT ID) must be indicated on the label of the factory equipment before it can be put on the market for sale. Simply put, only radio transmission equipment with China's radio transmission equipment model approval code can be sold and used domestically in China.
